Feast day of Santa Lucia

December 13 is the feast day of Santa Lucia, a Sicilian saint, whose name means light, who is associated with bringing light to the darkness, and the Winter Solstice. Before the Gregorian calendar, Dec 13 was the Winter Solstice.

Lucy is generally shown holding a plate with eyes on it, with eyes being her most prominent symbol. As such, Santa Lucia is a patron of eyesight, second sight, divination and prophecy, and called upon to protect from and remove the evil eye.

She is prayed to for “Lucy’s light,” psychic clarity, clairvoyance, and to remove spiritual blindness, a patron of fortune tellers, mystics, seers, and light workers.

Santa Lucia, I present myself before you, for the blessing of my sight, infuse and increase my divine light. Obtain for me by your intercession with spirit, perfect vision. Preserve the light in my soul, that I might light the path for others. Help me serve the light, now and always.

Join me for a Blockbuster Road Opener Healing Spell on the Solstice, Wednesday December 21 at 6pm Pacific Time. The spell will be hosted as a hybrid session. Join us in person or online.
