Feast Day of Saint Benedict
Today is the Feast Day of St. Benedict.
Santo Benedito is said to be a protective saint, warding against poison, the evil eye, hexes, disease, rash, and temptation, among other things.
Known as the ‘Father of Western Monasticism,’ Santo Benedito is well known for his approach to monastic life; community orientated with a motto of “all things in moderation.” He’s characterized as a fatherly figure and very protective.
